Public Service Minister appoints Deputy Commissioner - Corporate Affairs, Mr. Stephen Pokanis as Acting Commissioner of Papua New Guinea Correctional Service on 24th September, 2018. Mr. Stephen Pokanis is a career Correctional Officer and has worked his way up through the ranks to his current designation. Acting Commissioner, Stephen Pokanis has 30 years of experience as a Corrections administrator.
