Ms. Francesa Marenge was appointed Acting Assistant Commissioner in 2020.  Ms. Marenge joined PNGCS on 28th April 1989.  Francesca is a career Female Corrections officer who has worked her way up to her current designation. Prior to her appointment as Acting Assistant Commissioner she was Manager-Policy, Planning & Evaluation.  Ms. Marenge has over 31 years of experience in Corrections administration operations, process and procedures.  She currently heads the Policy & Planning, ICT, Facilities, and Public Relations Sections within the organization.  She is also a member of the Correctional Service Executive Team (CSET).
